Restoring wholeness

Compass instead of a map

We are all born whole.

The most authentic creatures are babies, who, heedless of the disapproval of their environment, will scream to get what they need when they need it, or whine loudly when they should be quiet. We are all born with the certainty that “I am OK just the way I am”. However, fitting into society – which is the key to our survival! – slowly reshapes this early security, and we learn that if we want to achieve something, we must take on roles or do something to be noticed and respected. We do this as the best possible choice for our intelligence at the time!

In the meantime, we cut away the painful parts of ourselves that will become our shadows or blind spots later, and if we don’t integrate them, they will eat us up from the inside. We can be successful, we can live in abundance, but still feel inside that something is not enough. Sometimes we feel unexplainable sadness, depression, or our body signals that something is wrong.

Our internal agenda: e.g. “I need to do something to feel valuable” or “I’m not good enough” can lead us into a variety of addictions – work, peer, drugs, alcohol, and others. These addictions can mask the lack for a while, but in the long run they can’t, and in fact they won’t. It’s no coincidence that suicide is one of the leading causes of death in the world, the most common among 15-39 year olds, and seven people attempt suicide every day in Hungary. We seem to have everything, sometimes even too much, but we are not happy.

Emotionally unavailable mothers or parents, childhood losses, hunger or physical and emotional abuse affect our neurobiological network, the amygdala (amygdala) in the brain goes into a constant state of alert, which is very stressful for our psyche and our physical body. The negative events of childhood are somatised in the body, and we lose our contact with it. Therefore a critical and essential part of the healing process is to reconnect with the body. Processes that focus solely on cognitive function and understanding therefore fail to achieve radical results.

Healing is effective when the mind-body-spirit connection is restored, whereby we can rely on our bodily wisdom in our perceptions, decisions and communication. At the same time, our compassion for ourselves increases and we can extend it to others. Our intuition, our inner compass, becomes stronger, and we are more courageous in making choices that support our own path. It is a reliable sign of healing when our environment changes, we step out of our addictions, develop more nurturing relationships and stop feeling anxious.

The 5 modules of the program build on each other to create a spiraling, dynamic journey of growth for anyone brave enough to face their stumbling blocks and commit to deep work. By the end of the whole process, we are reconnected to our authentic inner self and empowered to continue working on ourselves independently.
