Emese Móricz

We are all born free and whole.

In order to fit into society, we often have to put our innermost needs, desires and even abilities on the back burner. If we’re lucky, at the latest around 40, a little voice inside of us starts calling, “Hello, is this all your life, really?” The voice comes with some pain, but we should be happy about that, because if we take the courage to follow it, we will eventually find our free, joyful and fulfilled selves just waiting to throw themselves into Life. Everyone needs to take back the control of their lives, not only is this my deep belief, but I am convinced this is why I am here.

A compass instead of a map:

In this programme, I have synthesised all my professional and personal experiences in order to offer a lasting and effective path to those who want to work with me. I combine elements of coaching, cognitive approaches, neurobiological findings and meditative techniques. The 5-module programme allows a deep and lasting transformation for anyone who is committed to living from within, from their most authentic selves.

Introduction

When I started my career as a trainer, I realised that all the skills we learn as adults work in “peacetime” only. We practice them in vain, since when we get under stress, we react mostly out of instinct. After a while I started to pay attention to the phenomena specifically, and it became clear that this was a serious pattern. I became intrigued to wonder what might be behind it? What works when something doesn’t work?

How do Heart-Centered Leaders Go Through the Fire?

Let’s nail down one thing: going through the fire has nothing to do with firefighting. Although your skills as a firefighter would certainly grow, too. Trust me! So, what is ‘fire’ then? Week by week, day by day we are confronted with situations that shake our solid...

When leaders feel safe, everyone feels safe.

What is the essence of Heart-Centered Leadership? Let's start by nailing this down: a heart-centered leader is kind and compassionate, however, she or he is not the best grandma of all, walking around the office with a huge plate of freshly baked cakes every day....

4-step guide to hold your team together amidst chaos – Legend of the skilled cook, a lawnmower and the two managerial superpowers – 3/4

In the first two parts of the article, I was talking about the unnecessary struggles we might experience as we are facing sudden changes or when we feel lost. Mostly it is our own stories, that we tell ourselves that make the situations even harder. I described in the...

4-step guide to hold your team together amidst chaos – Legend of the skilled cook, a lawnmower and the two managerial superpowers – 2/4

In the first part of the article, I used a Taoist parable to describe the mastery of effortless actions. I also explained the reason, why we are chasing ourselves more often into unnecessary internal struggles. The good news is that if we can find a way to ground...

4-step guide to hold your team together amidst chaos – Legend of the skilled cook, a lawnmower and the two managerial superpowers – 1/4

According to a Taoist legend, during the reign of Wenhui, there lived at court a cook who was good at cutting beef and had a wonderful knife. Every movement she made, the touch of her hand, the tilt of her shoulders and the stamp of her foot all corresponded to...

Get back in your own shoes first!

Put yourself in his/her shoes” is often really good advice, because when we are in conflict with someone we are unable to empathize with them. And we would reach a consensus sooner if we could see behind the anger, fear or hurt, the person who may be struggling with similar emotions to our own, but who is unable to express himself.

Our ability to adapt to a profoundly sick society is not a sign of mental health

The above title is a quote from Jiddu Krishnamurti, the Indian philosopher who travelled the world for over sixty years giving lectures whose main message was that only a complete transformation of individual hearts can bring peace to societies. He stressed that he...

Testimonials

“Emese has been supporting me as a coach for a long time. I have had very good experiences with coaches before, but Emese has opened up completely new directions and possibilities in our work together. As a leader, especially as a female leader, I have faced many challenges in the last two years and as a result of our collaboration I have been able to overcome “stumbling blocks”, make and consistently implement difficult decisions in my organisation. I am more conscious of understanding and accepting others’ points of view, and being more tolerant. I feel that I pay more attention to introducing and communicating change.”
